Dr. Kim Rohr

Dr. Kim Rohr
Chiropractor

I use therapies that correct imbalances; including joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial (muscular) therapies, and cranial techniques. I recommend clinical nutrition, supplementation, dietary management, life-style changes, and exercise that will support your treatments.

My goal is to help you regain balance and harmony within; to relieve your pain and empower you to live in optimal health.

My unique approach to Chiropractic Therapy!

I believe that the muscles and tendons connected to the spine and skeletal structure must be warm and relaxed to facilitate a non-invasive and lasting adjustment. During each visit I take time to investigate and assess your overall condition.
I ALWAYS employ relaxing techniques and massage the associated muscles prior to making ANY adjustment.

I set aside one hour for each patient; giving me the time to treat you as a whole. I do not merely treat your symptoms. My holistic approach focuses on balancing the physical, chemical and emotional components.

My introduction to Chiropractic care

At the age of 15 a horse riding accident left me with neck pain that radiated into my left shoulder blade and down my arm. I followed the usual protocols; however, my symptoms would return as soon as I stopped the anti-inflammatory and pain medication.

Dr. Susan Mc Callum, a Chiropractor, in Cape Town, South Africa performed an examination and gave me a treatment. The relief was immediate. I was able to turn my head from side to side without pain or restriction; the pain in my shoulder blade and arm was significantly reduced. It was an amazing feeling.

I decided right then that I wanted to be able to help people in the same manner and to pursue my dream of becoming a Chiropractic Physician.

After obtaining my doctorate from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in 1993; I practiced at Integrated Pain Management in Indiana before relocating to Florida. I opened my first practice in 1995 and relocated to our new office in Dunedin 2009.

Wade Landry
Certified Hatha Massage thearpist and YogaTeacher

Wade is a Certified Postural Integrator/Licensed Massage Therapist (#MA4958) with over 38 years of experience. He is RYT 200 hour certified Hatha Yoga Teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. He is currently registered with Yoga Unify as a level 3 mentor. Plus an additional 10 years working in local hospitals primarily in Mental Health.

Massage therapy can involve many varying techniques and disciplines, some are best suited to specific conditions, and some may be applied by patient preference. It is important for Dunedin Health & Wellness Center to offer a wide diversity of Massage disciplines to support our many and varied patient base.

Wade Landry began working in the medical field in 1975, first as a C.N.A. at the former Tarpon Springs General Hospital, and then, for almost 9 years, as a Mental Health technician at Mease Hospital in Dunedin.

On deciding to focus his career on Massage Therapy Wade decided to take advantage of the many available disciplines but to concentrate on Psychotherapeutic Postural Integration.

Applying PPI, the patient and practitioner interact to guide the development of self-awareness and consciousness, enabling clients to increase their sense of wellbeing, their capacity to feel, and their ability to emotionally express themselves with clarity in their relationships. PPI integrates a whole process and procedure of touch into the ongoing psychotherapeutic process through stimulation of the layers of fascia, allows the opening of specific dimensions of experience and history of the body and its different parts

Wade was licensed in massage therapy in January 1984 and became certified in Psychotherapeutic Postural Integration in February 1988 by Dr. Joy K. Johnson, Ph.D.

Wade has also studied Craniosacral Therapy (in1988 and 1989); Tui Na, and NeuroMuscular Massage Therapies, as well as, Somato-Emotional Release, Reichian Breath work and different approaches to energy-field healing.

Wade’s in-depth understanding of the metaphysical importance of Massage Therapy makes him an ideal practitioner for the overall philosophy of Dunedin Health & Wellness Center.

Sessions with Wade will take place in the comfort of your home.
